Over 10,000 drivers in North Carolina were issued registration numbers commencing WTF inadvertantly. No one seemed to realise that WTF was the younger generation’s email and text speak abbreviation for “what the f**k”. It wasn’t until a primary schools teacher’s grandchildren spotted her new number plates that it came to light.She told a newspaper ” she had developed this real self-consciousness” once she found out what her number plate meant.
